Christmas In Montana

Trailer where I live. I put up some festive bows.
Front door. I put a Season's Greeting. I put it inside as well. The pumpkins...long story
but i painted a santa claus face on it with a stencil...i just need to toss them :)

Inside of door. The mirror, the stocking, festive rockin'

Candy Cane window covering...just took apart gift bags. Helps keep it a bit warmer also.

One view from front room. Snowflake lights and snowflake stenciled on.

Christmas Cactus in Bloom. PRETTY!

The other side of window.

I did row of lights around wall. Hung garland, and added lights, bows and christmas balls.

Another view.

Little christmas tree from Boy Scout Troup 4 feet = 20$, maybe should've boughten the plastic one after all. I did a cardboard star with aluminum foil, but can't see with light from window shining on it.

For proof that I ran the tractor....

Hay Season in MT

I always do this wrong...start at the bottom and work way up :)

Me getting in for solo run!
My sweetie by the lone tree.

Trying to capture cattails. Reminded me of Beaverton.
" Blue Skies Smiling at Me. Nothing but Blue Skies do I see"

Cheesy picture I took of myself. In my sun-hat, that got a bit warped! Will and tractor-baler
Just pretty view. We didn't do this area..but I liked the lone tree.
This is section we did. Will in tractor.

So its hay season, or should say it was....helping out Will's sister. This year has been raining off and on...so the hay you see here...is ruined. Too wet not good. I got to ride/drive tractor. Will sat with me for awhile, showing me how...and then I did solo for about 3 rows...I enjoyed it. Granted I don't have to do it every year or every day :) But a taste of country. I like. Oh, by the way...lifting hay bales really good workout!

some photos i forgot to post at the time taken

will and I were in jeep. And his sister and husband rode 3-wheeler and 4-wheeler
Boulder Pass area. This is meadow. We stopped before climbed to the top...Very Rocky road :) Will and I went with Spring and Wayne...It was a month ago i think!! i can't remember!
Will's Pig. We were out and about checking out yard-sales. And came across this BBQ pig. It said "MAKE BEST OFFER" i knew Will was eyeing it...but he was like..$200 bucks plus (he saw one in Springville that was like $600+ bucks) Anyway, we are looking around and about that time, the lady comes and slaps on $10.00 OBO. Well....Will got excited. He went to the man and was like "how much for the pig" He responds $40. Will's like, "Oh, there's a sign says $10". In the end...Pig Sold for $15. We look online later, since all the info is on the rear-of the pig (corky tail), teets, and all...and find that newer versions are $1000 bucks. Needless to say...What a find :) And its been at his sisters where it bbq's delicious hamburges and provides endless commentary!

Some fun things/pictures

Being silly...:)

Will and I went to Oregon the weekend of June 12-15. We spent it with my parents. And he asked my Dad to marry me. So now it is officially OFFICIAL :) We did get a chance to go to the Portland Saturday Market and had a few unexpected surprises while there...I was too flabbergasted to take pictures..not like i would post them here :) We witnessed a Naked Bike Ride. It also happened to be the Pride Festival that day. It was a day that Will will remember for years to come :) At least we were together...Here are a few photos from the trip. Alas didn't get any with the family :( my bad...

Memorial Day Weekend 2009

the camp site
These are only pictures I took. Wayne, Will, Mccoy,Spring, Boat, Kami and little dog is Dandy.
LAKE HEBGEN.

Alas, I didn't have my digital camera on me for the BIG moments this weekend. :( Yep, i'm like...man that would've been an awesome photo.

Will picked me up from work Friday (i got done at 3pm, work has been interesting, remodeling, new upgrade to the MRS system) and we headed to Hebgen Lake about 2 hours away. Will's sister Spring goes to this primitive camp-site. We met up with her man's cousin, who has a house on the lake. Had a lovely dinner there and got to hang with them (very very good people) then boated over to the cove. Yep only way there is to boat. The campsite was already set up, springs son and man went thursday. So that was nice. We then proceeded to fish. Will caught the first one in the cove, then proceeded to catch 2 more for a total 3. Springs son, Mccoy, caught 2 plus the 1 day before. And I CAUGHT MY FIRST FISH!!! It was a brown trout, and about 20 inches long?? i don't care, i caught it and it was bigger than everyone elses. The next day i caught my 2nd fish, rainbow trout.

Anyway, it was fun time, i enjoyed fishing, hanging and eating wonderful dutchoven, over campfire food. I didn't so much like having to shovel my own hole to poo in. You sit over a log (lots of downed logs) and hang off....like a toilet...except no flushing. It wasn't bad....for the most part, just not fun in the middle of the night! i was afraid something coming to grab me!! hhaha. Of course you then cover it back up....

It was good...i went out in a little rubber raft, just one person and learned to row myself about. I had a sun hat...but of course today didnt' wear it and got BURNT face.

It was a great time, and i enjoyed it. Wish it didn't end. .... and more than anything wish i had a camera for my fish!! Will is going to smoke the fish, got a smoker at an auction a few weeks ago...
it makes me want to go camping more! and i really do like fishing :)

Some photos

my handsome nephew jack. What a happy baby! :)
my cute niece charlotte, making funny face at me :)

On way to jessica's, i went through the gallatin canyon(?) towards west yellowstone. There were buffalo and little baby buffalo. But i didn't have my camera handy and so didn't get them on way down. Then way back to MT i was able to get this shot...but no baby buffalo this time :(

I went to see Jessica mothers day weekend and while there she helped me get my hair fixed. Since i get a bit tongue-tie in telling stylists what i want :) Basically the lady cut more layers and trimmed the ends, then razored texture to my bags, and hair and then curled with a flat iron, i guess it gives natural color. Jess also helped me pick out some more feminine shirts, this is one of them. I can't get the flat-iron curl down :(

My friend Sylvia from Portland, oregon. I met her up in Shelby, MT (about 5 hour drive) it was beautiful drive and it was really great to see her. The 17thish of April is when it was.
So some photos to share. Hope you enjoy.

I don't think Spring exists in Montana :)

So last week it was nice up in 70s i believe. Just beautiful sunny weather, everyone out and about walking the dogs, strolling with the kids. Well the very next day after...guess what? SNOW! and then the day after its back and Spring-timish and then guess what? SNOW.

Its crazy! I'm getting used to not having spring in Montana. I wish i had gotten pictures to show the difference. Its suppose to snow all this week. :( yikes! I better get used to it...and i'm sure i will just miss seeing springtime flowers.

acai berry detox is a SCAM

so i was gullible! frustrated with my weight, and was looking up weight loss type blogs. I found one very very convincing, where this girl used a free trail of acai berry and a colon cleanse (not dr natura thank goodness!!)

i was dumb, and DIDN"T investigate. I thought for a brief moment, don't do it..you'll be charged..but then i was psyched by..i'm going to lose weight!! Well.....this company
http://www.acaiberrydetox.com/offer/lp4/?mid=111&subid=14396-myown1#frm

doesn't put on the home page nor the purchae page (i would've remembered and thought twice about getting the product) that its a 14day trial period. And you would think the trail period starts the DAY you receive the product...nope. Out-source-indian chick customer service said my trial period started the day I ordered it!! Which was March 20th. I didn't receive it on March 20th. First misleading anything.

Then I say fine, i want a refund. "Oh no ma'am" says Out-source-indian chick it has been more than 14 days. Then I say fine then "CANCEL" it. "okay ma'am" so while i'm holding....i go to front page of the website again..looking for something in SMALL print. Well very bottom in SMALL print says 'terms and conditions" granted i'm very very upset with myself...but i still believe this is a scan and very misleading. I was actually thinking of BUYING another bottle...but not after today. I'm at work and i look at bank account and there is a 87.13 charge..from berry clean, i'm like..who is that? i didn't buy anything...then i kept saying it and i'm like..""OH NO THEY DIDN"T"

okay so the small terms and conditon, states that 14 day crap and then says if its after 15 days. You can return the unused portion within 30 days from purchase (which I still got time) and receive a 100% refund minus S&H. So the CSR indian chick gets back on the line and i say...I can get a full refund. "Oh no you can't ma'am' you cancelled your account"

hello, i never OPENED an account. I only ordered a FREE trail.

HOW MISLEADING and yes how GULLIBLE I was!!

Don't fall for it!

Storm Windows

So i was amazed at my electricity bills and how expensive my little place has been to keep warm....and now i know why!! Storm Windows.
Well i guess you have to close it!! Will was helping do some staining smelly stuff (on our handmade bootjacks) and i'm like please open the window...well in the process he's like...HEY there's another window and its opened...well guesss what...storm window! hahaha
so now in my final month of living here...i might have a cheaper electricity bill now that the storm windows are CLOSED!

just funny i had to laugh, such is life, we learn as we go..right???

i'm enjoying being here. I'm getting used to the cold/snow/driving over the pass. Work has had some major changes over last few weeks...lets say overwhelming, and very stressful.
i went to the foot doctor aabout a month ago and need to get orthotics...and i haven't...they cost a lot. saving up for them...but i have been wearing my shoes up til i get to bed. and so that has helped, i aslo stoppped my kick-boxing since i think that was aggravating my ligament...punching the bag with my leg...yeah..no wonder i couldn't walk the next day. So once again, the foot is bearable (my right one has a heel spur that has developed over the years..on the BOTTOM, i also have a small one on my heel (achilles tendon) but that doesn't bug me...anyway..it was fascinating how dr described it to me...i won't bore ya all)

anyway..so i think i've gained weight :( it has been nice a few times tat will and i have ridden bicycles...so that was fun. Plan to do a lot more when the weather is better...

i'll keep ya updated on life...just sometimes it goes to fast! Being here i have slowed down and am enjoying what life really is...but it still seems that the days comea nd go toooo quickly.

i'll try to post more pictures later.

Living in Livingston: Photos for your viewing pleasure

here are some photos..
will and i went up to bozeman, and he drove. So i got this shot of some of what i drive each day. Its after we went over the Hill. That is what you say when you go to/from Livingston. Going over the Hill. Yep i'm learning Montanan.

my honey. This little bridge is just a few blocks away, over the river/creek, its the community center/park area. Notice the moutains? Every which way you turn you see mountains. I love it!

We went on a walk...itwas a nice day..got cold/windy toward the end...i took my own picture.

The fake side of livingston.!! what is up with my font?? okay there it goes..and now its blue?? whatever...i'm sooo clueless with blogging stuff...me the computer expert?? hahaha. This is my photo of main street. Will and I go to the STOCKMAN. that is where I had my b-day dinner. Its interesting you have to go through the bar before you get to the little restaurant area. It one page menus and cash only. Always crowded. Its a home-town favorite. Simple low fuss favorites. Its dang good and very reasonable prices...why we go a bit mroe than we should! Steak and potatoe anyone?

The Real Livingston. Lots of alleyways, Will says he wants to do a book of images of 'real towns' hahaha. I don't have a picture, but the houses are interesting, you have house then the detached garage behind, with a small street/alley inbetween the garages and then houses on the other sides...i know i'm confusing!! i don't make much sense...so i need a picture. and then some houses are hidding in the middle of the other ones...We went and looked at a house for sale..couldn't find it from the street..until we went up the alley/dirt street and there it was...nope, i don't want that house! hahaha. A view of the Garbage cans and cars and garages? Not unless i ihave to.
from front of apt building...Library then a little down..is the Post Office, behind the Red Truck/Tree is the Movie theatre. One side of the marquee got blown off. You aren't able to sneak away during the day and watch a movie. Two movies only. 7 and 9pm showing. Saturday/sunday i think i've seen like a 4pm one. Very quaint...I haven't been yet. I'm going to get will to take me so we can expereience a small town movie theatre..i wonder if it will be like the Valley in Oregon?? The red building is the chinese restaurant the WOK, great wonton soup, but we must've gone on a bad night.
From the front door of Apt. This is the Library.
and that's all folks!!

02/07/09 Me and My Honey

Here are two photos from today! Not the greatest..but pictures. I forgot to carry my digital camera around today, it was a very beautiful day, sunny and NO WIND. So that means it might snow tonight. It was pretty warm, most everyone was walking around in long shirts.
